Cone Valves

Specifications

Vulnerable Zones & Failures

1. Sealing cone surface: Wear/deformation → ore leakage and unstable liquid level, reduced recovery

2. Cone spool & seat edges: Erosion & chipping → sealing failure, local vortex and accumulated sediment

3. Valve stem joints: Vibration abrasion → looseness, uneven wear and valve sticking

Inspection & Replacement Standard

  • Inspection Cycle: 500–1,000 working hours; check cone surface abrasion, sealing integrity and valve stem flexibility

  • Replacement Criteria:

1. Sealing surface abrasion ≥2mm or deep grooves/cracks form

2. Ore leakage rate ≥5% or liquid level cannot be stabilized

3. Severe deformation or material shedding on spool/valve seat

Maintenance Tips

Avoid iron blocks & bulk debris impact; regularly clean cone surfaces to prevent mineral scaling; maintain coaxial installation with uniform gaps for balanced wear.
